Three day mushroom cultivation training program concluded at MTPS on 21.12.2022. Total 51 women from project affected village like Demha, Birpur and Sain panchayat were participated in the training program.

The closing ceremony was graced by Shri Debasis Sahu, HOP MTPS and Smt Suparna Sahu , President of Sanghmitra Mahila Mandal.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Debasis Sahu congratulated the MTPS CSR team for hosting this fruitful training programme on mushroom cultivation and expressed optimism that this step will prove beneficial in enhancing the skill of the women and will help to ensuring the financial sustainability of the farmers. He stressed on women to adopt mushroom cultivation to become self-dependent.

During the training programme, team from, T. M. Bhagalpur University highlighted the scope and importance of mushroom in context with Bihar. They further demonstrated the technique for utilizing the Spent Mushroom Substrate for making compost etc. They also explained the procedure for getting benefits of different schemes. He also stressed on the beneficiaries to take full benefit of loans provided by the banks through different schemes under Mushroom Cultivation.
Shri Aananda Banerjee GM (Maint.), Shri Partha Nag GM (O), Shri Manoj Sinha GM (C&M), Shri Sanjeet Kumar DGM (HR), Shri Nishant Kamal, Sr. Manager (CSR/R&R/LA) and Miss Nishttha Singh Executive (CSR) were present at the closing ceremony.
